The following standing committees have specific openings. The deadline to apply is Friday, April 4, 2025.
- Committee for Health Information Access (CHIA)
- Continuing Education Committee (CE)
- High School to College Committee (HS2C)
- Library Education, Advancement, and Partnership (LEAP)
- Preservation Committee
- Resource Sharing Committee (RSC)
- WNY Library Support Staff Committee (WNYLSS)
Who Should Apply:
- Members who wish to join a committee starting July 1, 2025, must complete this form to be considered.
- If you currently serve on a committee and your term is expiring June 30, 2025, you may complete an application to serve a 2nd term.
You do not need to reapply if your committee term is not ending June 30, 2025.
Please note the following:
- Applications must be completed in one sitting.
- The committee year runs from July 1 through June 30.
- Appointed committee members serve a full 3-year term with a limit of two consecutive full terms.
- If you want to serve on an additional committee, you will need to fill out this form.
- If you have completed two terms on a committee but wish to continue, you will need to take a year off. However, you may apply to serve on any other committee with available openings.
- Care is given to balance the committee by both library type and geographic area. For more information, please review the current WNYLRC Standing Committee Guidelines.
