Roma Matott, Library Media Specialist, Norwich City School District
After earning her MLS from the University of Pittsburgh in 1995, Roma has worn many hats in both urban and rural public libraries, from bilingual Spanish/English children's librarian to YA/adult services librarian, assistant director, and systems librarian. Nine years ago, she added a Master of Science in Teaching from SUNY Oswego to her accomplishments and began working as a library media specialist in schools. Roma is always excited about finding new ways to make library spaces more welcoming and useful for everyone who walks through the door.
