Kenneth Thurstone, of Buffalo, NY, was mustered into service of the Sightseein' Sixth Infantry in June of 1918, joining the waves of young Americans heading overseas to fight in what would become known as World War I. Through Kenneth's letters home to his family and fiance we find a young man painting a picture of his war experience that may well be at odds with reality.
