The 2025 WNYLRC Awards Nomination Form is now open!
Let’s celebrate the amazing individuals and institutions in
the Western New York Library community!
Every day we work with someone who inspires us and exemplifies high standards through their hard work, creative thinking, and unique projects. Consider recognizing the achievements, talent, and dedication demonstrated by our colleagues, member libraries, and supporters of libraries that exist in Western New York. A candidate may be nominated by a co-worker, an employee at WNYLRC, an individual from the library profession who resides in the region or by a member of the community in which the library serves.
Fill out the nomination form here. The deadline is June 30, 2025. Please note: the more information, reference letters, and evidence you provide, the better the Awards Task Group is able to judge your candidate.
The awards will be presented at the WNYLRC Annual Meeting of the Membership in September.
This year we have awards in two categories:
- Outstanding Library (Institutional Award)
- Library All Star (Individual Award)
