Come work on your library’s LibGuides pages at your own pace. WNYLRC’s HS2C Committee Chair David Lewis (and Bryant & Stratton Academic Librarian) will be available to demonstrate features, answer questions and assist with any problems. Practice accounts will also be available to those who do not have LibGuides but would like to try it out. LibGuides is a content management system used by libraries in conjunction with (or sometimes in place of) their websites. It allows a flexible way to create web pages without knowing a lot of coding or design principles, yet offering advanced features for those who do have greater knowledge. In this workshop you'll learn how LibGuides can be used to create subject guides, internal staff documents, research portals, or even whole websites.
Bring your own devices if you can – if not, we can provide a limited number of laptops.
