Join Rob Favini, OCLC Member Relations Liaison, for an overview of the many resources and learning opportunities available to the library community through WebJunction. The session will also provide a closer look at Wikipedia + Libraries (http://www.webjunction.org/explore-topics/wikipedia-libraries.html), a project of OCLC Research and WebJunction. Attendees will learn how this new project facilitates human-to-human connections among Wikipedians and librarians, and exposes librarians to the inner-workings of Wikipedia so that they can work hands-on with the resource and adeptly guide their patrons' use of it.
Rob Favini is a Member Relations Liaison within OCLC’s Membership and Research Division. Prior to joining OCLC Rob held positions in public, academic and special libraries working as a reference librarian, education coordinator, library administrator, research analyst, and project manager. Rob holds an MLIS from Kent State University, an MBA from Bentley University
