Locate, scan, edit, and post digital resources to the college’s learning management system (LMS). Aid instructors on the use of the course readings tool in the LMS. Direct and monitor the student employees who work in the library. Search for missing library items and provide detailed reporting on the outcome. Provide backup assistance to the evening supervisor/reserves & digitization staff for media items. This is a 2nd shift position; hours are 2 pm – 10 pm, Sunday through Thursday; hours vary depending on the academic calendar.
Associate’s degree and a minimum of 2 years previous library experience in processing digital reserves/electronic reserves, circulation, reserves, or the equivalent combination of education and experience; strong attention to detail, organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills; working knowledge of Office 365 apps. Ability to prioritize projects, handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines while working independently and as a member of a team; ability to interact with various constituencies of the College and students. Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree, experience with course management systems and supervisory experience.
