Pay and Benefits: $14.50-$15.00/hr

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday

Description: The Peer Wellness Coach will work as a member of the Integrated Treatment Team and will faciliate individual consumer engagement in the PBHCI project, supporting behavioral health recovery as well as physical health and wellness efforts. Services provided by the Peer Wellness Coach include: engagement activities with consumers, including community outreach; individual wellness planning with consumers; facilitation or co-facilitation of a wide range of wellness groups; assisting with consumers with referral/linkage to community-based wellness and recovery activities; and working with consumers to address motivation and barriers to engaging in recovery activities.

The Peer Wellness Coach will also participate in Integrated Treatment Team meetings, data collection and evaluation activities, and project continuous quality improvement efforts. The Peer Wellness Coach's day-to-day activities will be guided by the NCDMH's Project Supervisor.

A mental health diagnosis and active, ongoing engagement in treatment for such is a requirement of this position.
