Job Title: Administrative Assistant
Department: IT Reports to: Executive Director
Supervise Others: No

Position Overview:
Provides support to CCLS staff working under the leadership of the Executive Director by
assisting in daily library system operations and special projects.
Key Responsibilities/Functions:
? Support CCLS Executive Director and Staff with daily tasks and long-term projects
? Liaison between Member Libraries and IT Department – Assist in organizing and
processing requests and handling paperwork for the department
? Prepare regular system newsletter
? Updates website content in WordPress
? Management of print shop projects
? Prepares documents for distribution to member libraries, funding agencies and the
library system’s governing board
? Assists the Executive Director in preparing documents for board and committee
? Attendance at some board and committee meetings
? Assists in delivery preparation as needed

Qualifications and Skills Required:
? Minimum Associates Degree with 1 year of experience or 3 years of relevant
? Previous experience performing Administrative Assistant or office duties
? Strong knowledge of basic computer software including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel
? Interest and ability to learn new technologies
? Experience with WordPress preferred
? Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
? Excellent listening, verbal and written communication.
? Able to work independently
? Able to lift and carry boxes weighing 25+ pounds
? Approachable and friendly demeanor
? Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team
? Valid Driver’s License
