The James Prendergast Library is seeking a full-time Library Operations Manager. The Library Operations Manager is a vital part of the library’s management team and will lead, evaluate, and ensure the delivery of high-quality services. The position also involves overseeing staff and assisting with developing, establishing and implementing operating policies and procedures, services, as well as overseeing workflow, circulation, and collection management. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, excellent organizational skills, and is a skilled communicator and relationship builder.
Located in Jamestown, NY, the James Prendergast Library serves the City of Jamestown which has a population of roughly 30,000 residents. The library offers a collaborative, innovative work environment where each employee contributes to providing valuable services and lifelong learning to the community.
Salary Range: $47,000 -$51,000, with an exceptional benefits package. The Prendergast Library also participates in the New York State Retirement System.
